Port au Prince, Haiti Mission Trips - Disaster Relief

On January 12th, 2010 Haiti was rocked by a magnitude 7.0 earthquake. The capital city of Port-au-Prince and the surrounding communities and cities to the south and south west were devastated.  While the world came quickly to the aide of Haiti, long term solutions for the poorest nation in the western hemesphere have been slow.  Mission Discovery has had a presence on the ground in Haiti for 10 years through it's child sponsorship devision called HOLD the Children.  Haiti and Mission Discovery need your help in the continued effort to bring help and hope.  Once you've gone to Haiti it's not an uncommon sense that 'you must return.'  Mission Discovery is committed to helping our brothers and sisters in Haiti recover. We have been working in Haiti since 1999. We have a history and a future there.
